شْنُو (آشْ) سْمِيْتَك ؟

What is your name

مَا إِسْمُكَ

سْمِيْتِي سَعِيْد

My name is Said

إِسْمِي سَعِيْد

وْشْكُونْ أِنْتَ ؟

And who are you? (respectful)

مَنْ حَضْرَتُكَ ؟

أَنَا سَمِيْر

I am Samir

أَنَا سَمِيْر

شْنُو (آشْ) سْمِيْتْ العَائِلَه دْيَالَكْ / دْيَالْكُم ؟

What is your family’s name

مَا هُوَ إِسْمُ عَائِلَتِكَ , عَائِلَتِكِ / عَائِلَتِكُمْ؟

سْمِيْتْ العَائِلَه دْيَالِي الفَاسِي, مْحِيْتْ إحْنَا مِنْ فَاس.

My family’s name is Al-Qudsi because we are from Jerusalem (Al-Quds).

إِسْمُ عَائِلَتِي الفَاسِي لأَنَّنَا مِنَ فَاس .

أَنَا مِن دَار الشَّمَالِي مْحِيْت جِدْنَا جَا مِنْ الشَمَال.

I am from the Shamali (The Northerner) family because our grandfather came from the northern (part) of the country.

أَنَا مِنْ بَيْتِ الشَّمَالِي لأَنَّ جَدَّنَا جَاءَ مِنْ شَمَالِ البِلادِ .

وِنْتَ مْنِيْن ؟

Where are you from?

وَحَضْرَتُكَ مِنْ أَيْن ؟

أَنَا مِنِ مَرَاكِش .

I am from Jerusalem

أَنَا مِنَ مَرَاكِش .

مْرَاكِش القدِيْمِه وِلاّّ جْدِيْده .

From the old (city) of Jerusalem or from the new (one)?

مِنَ مَراَكِش القَدِيْمَةِ أَمِ الجَدِيْدَةِ .

أَنَا مِنِ لِمْدِيْنَه القَدِيْمَه .

I am from the old city

أَنَا مِنَ البَلَدةِ القَدِيْمَةِ .

شنُُو(آشْ) تَتِخْدِمْ أ َسَمِيْر ؟

What do you do (for work) Samir ?

مَاذَا تَعْمَلُ ( تَشْتَغِلُ) يَا سَمِيْر ؟

أَنَا طَالِب ف ِالجَامْعَة.

Truly, I am a student at the university.

إِنَّني طَالِبٌ فِي الجَامِعَةِ .

وْشنُُو(آشْ) تَتِقْرَا فِي الجَامْعَة .

And what do you study at the university?

وَمَاذَا تَتَعَلَّمُ فِي الجَامِعَةِ .

تَنِدْرِس (تَنِقْرَا) تِجَارة .

I am studying Commerce

أَنَا أَدْرُسُ التِّجَارَةَ .

فُوقَاشْ غَادِي تْخَرَّجْ نْشَاأَلله ؟

When will you graduate, if God will?

وَمَتَى سَتَتَخَرَّجُ إِنْ شَاءَ الله ؟

غَادِي نْتْخَرَّج مِن بِعِد عَامِيْن بِشَّهَادَه (ْدِبْلُوم) بِي إي

I will graduate in 2 years with a certificate (degree) of B.A.

سَتَأَخَرَّجُ بَعْدَ سَنَتَيْنِ بِشَهَادَةِ بي إي .

وْمِنْ بَعْدْ شْنُو (آشْ) غَادِي تِخْدِمْ ؟

After that, what do you want (intend) to work (do for work)?

وَبَعْدَهَا مَاذَا تُرِيْدُ أنْ تَعْمَلَ ؟

خْتِي تَتِقْرَا مَعَايَ إنْجليزِيهِّ وْخَصْهَا عَامَيْنْ وْتْخَرَّجْ ومِن تِمَّ غَادِي نْسَافِرو لُنْدُن لِقْرَايَه .

My sister is studying English with me and she wants also to graduate in 2 years. After that we want to travel to Londonfor (to) study.

أُخْتِي تَدْرُسُ مَعِي اللُغَةَ الإنْجْلِيزِيَّةَ وَتَحْتَاجُ إلَى سَنَتَيْنِ إِضَافِيَّتَيْنِ لِتَتَخَرَّجَ وَبَعْدَهَا نُرِيْدُ (نَوَدُّ) أنْ نُسَافِرَ إلى لَنْدَنَ لِلدِّرَاسَةِ .

ألله يْوَفِقْكم وِيْنَجِّحْكُم فِي قْرَايِتْكُم وْفِ حْيَاتْكُم .

اللهُ يُوَفِّقُكُمَا وَيُنْجِحُكُمَا فِي دُرُوسِكُمَا وَفِي حَيَاتِكُمَا.
