Requirements:

1. One 2" X 2" recent photo.
2. Passport (still valid for at least 6 months).
3. Fee: $15 per passport for U.S. citizen (money order or cash only). No personal or company check please. For other nationalities, contact the consulate for the appropriate fee.
4. For non-Americans, photocopy of a green card and round-trip ticket.
5. For business VISA, a letter from the company stating the purpose of the trip and financial guarantee of the company.
6. Self-addressed STAMPED envelope for certified mail for the return of the passport, via EXPRESS MAIL. Please send STAMPS and label via FEDERAL EXPRESS or any overnight service. Please send money order. WE DO NOT ACCEPT ACCOUNT NUMBERS. We do not take responsibility for any loss that may occur in mailing passport/s.

Important Notice:

•  CUSTOM DECLARATION: There is no list on the amount of foreign currency which visitors can bring into Egypt, however, they must declare their currency on FORM D and upon departure must present FORM D and bank receipts.
• Visa is valid for 3 months from date of application. Visas cannot be postdated. Processing time is 48 hours in person, 5 working days by mail excluding mailing time. Holders of tourist visas are not allowed to work in Egypt.
• HEALTH CERTIFICATE is required only if a traveler is coming from an infected area.
• Incomplete requirements will delay the visa process.
