Roman Amphitheater:
The only Roman theater in Egypt was discovered quite recently, when the foundations for a new apartment building were being dug. It is open from 9 am to 4 pm. Admission costs 3 Egyptian pounds, or 1.50 for students, but it will cost you an extra 10 Egyptian pounds to take photographs.
Pompeys Pillar & the Serapeum:
This site is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission costs 3 Egyptian Pounds, or 1.50 for students. There is no fee for using your camera.
Catacombs of Kom ash-shuqqafa:
They are open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission costs 6 Egyptian pounds, or 3 for students, plus 10 Egyptian pounds for taking photographs.
Fort Qait Bey:
Admission is 6 Egyptian pounds, or 3 for students, it will cost you an extra 10 Egyptian pounds to take photographs and 20 Egyptian pounds for video.
Necropolis of Al-Anfushi:
The tombs are open from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and entry costs 6 Egyptian pounds or half for students.The Mosque of Mursi Abul Abbas:
Situated in Al-Anfushi, this Andalusian-style mosque is the largest in the city. It has four domes and a very high minaret.Others include:
