The Kingdom of Morocco is in the North-West corner of Africa and extends between latitudes 21 degrees and 36 degrees North. It is bound by the Mediterranean Sea to the North and by the Atlantic to the West.
A Mediterranean climate in the North, sub-tropical in the South, and a continental type in the mountains. Summers are hot, but with agreeable temperatures over 5,000 ft. In Winter, snow falls from October on the Rif and Atlas mountain tops, and nights can be very cold.
